Mr. Alavi began his practice in 1992 with the firm of Odom, Schmerin and Thomason practicing in the areas of Civil and Criminal litigation. In 1995 Mr. Alavi founded the firm of Alavi and Associates, which later became Alavi, Winn and Associates focusing on Civil litigation, State and Federal Criminal defense, Estate Planning and Probate, Family , and Employment law. In 2010 Mr. Alavi joined with Samuel Broyles to form the firm of Alavi and Broyles LLP, with a focus on Estate Planning and Litigation as well as Commercial, Banking and Real Estate Litigation. In 2011, Mr. Alavi was designated Of Counsel to Ferrari & Associates, P.C., PC to bring to Southern California their unparalleled success in representation of clients before the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Asset Control.
